The success of the Christmas Airlift is clearly due to the generous Pilots and Donors like YOU who provide the supplies.
We strive to ensure that every plane is filled to capacity.
The clothing may be for children (children have a habit of growing!) or adults, and should be in good condition. Clothing, blankets, and other ‘soft pack’ may be packed in garbage bags, which then work very well for packing in General Aviation aircraft. Toys should similarly be in good condition for the children’s enjoyment. Toiletries or non-perishable food are also very much appreciated.
We try to limit the weight of the bags and boxes to 20 pounds for the ease of managing for loading, unloading, and distribution.

While the mission of the Navajo Christmas Airlift is focused on clothing, blankets, toys, toiletries, food, and other supplies, we understand that some might want to provide a financial donation. Southwest Indian Foundation (of Gallup, New Mexico) provides outstanding support across the Reservation. The Southwest Indian Foundation site also has a shop option for jewelry, art, fashion, and other gifts that may well be of interest. The Navajo Christmas Airlift does not have a financial interest with the Southwest Indian Foundation, although tremendously admires the mission SWIF provides on the Reservation.
